This is a photo of me when I was 17 or 18 in college
practicing tuning a piano (Wales circa. 1979).

This organization is similar to the Piano Technicians Guild (U.S.). The
difference is - an associate member with the Institute of Musical Instrument
Technology has to prove that they have been in business for over 2 years and
a full member has to prove that they have been in business for over 5 years.
Both an associate or full member take the same supervised
examinations in Tuning and Repairing Pianos.
