| We refinished this Steinway grand in Black Satin. | |

| The keys were chipped and cracked. | We replaced the key tops, refinished the sharps and veneered the worn sides of the keys. |

| There were large cracks in the lid and legs. | After repairing the crack we added an extra support beam under the lid for stability. |

| At the time of restoration the music rack was in bad condition. We repaired it as much as possible however after 8 years of use it eventually fell apart and was beyond repair. |
As the dimensions of a Steinway B have changed over the last 100 years, it was not possible to buy a new music rack from Steinway that would fit into the piano. We custom manufactured a completely new music rack copying the original design. |
